MDK Field Guide No. 26: Moss

When Ann Shayne and Kay Gardiner of Modern Daily Knitting fame asked Hélène what she'd like to use as a theme for her designs in this Field Guide, her answer was quick and simple. "Moss," she said. So here we are. Using two wools from Icelandic sheep - Plotulopi, an unspun roving, and Love Story, a laceweight lambswool - Hélène brings us the smallest sights in Iceland, the colors she sees in the lichens, moss, and tiny plants of her beloved country.

Now, we at The Lucky Ewe don't stock Plotulopi, but we can suggest some substitutes(think GOR La Bella). We are also stockists of a laceweight lambswool (Curly Wool Yarns).
