Hi there! Due to the Easter break, any orders placed between the Thursday the 17 of April and Monday, the 21st of April will not be shipped until Tuesday the 22nd.
We might take the opportunity to squeeze in a bit of beach time during the break.
Over Christmas The Man and I had a big push to get the studio finished. We were working towards a tight deadline, as I had workshops scheduled to take place the end of March.
When the workshops were cancelled, we both breathed a huge sigh of relief (he more than me, I think). The feeling we had was the same as that feeling you get when you slip off a pair of too tight shoes, or loosen that belt a notch.
Anyway, the studio is finished except for a few minor finishing details. The biggest delay now is waiting for furniture to be delivered.
In the meantime, we have a day for Spinners scheduled for this Saturday the 10th of April, and then we are taking a bit of a holiday over the Easter period.
It seems that every single indie yarn dyer has an advent calendar. Every. Single. One.
What about the hand spinners? The people who find the deepest pleasure in the creating. The people who need the time away from the hustle and bustle of keeping up with the knitting Jones', or the shiny new skeins. The one who is sick of being bombarded by the squirrels and unrealistic instagram posts.
