Join us to explore this addictive form of weaving with thread-through tablet weaving. Also called card weaving, it is your gateway into the world of patterns and techniques.
Our goal is that you to leave the workshop with a short finished strap and the skills create more at home. You’ll be able to weave strong decorative straps that can be used for bags, belts, instrument straps, pet leashes, key fobs in any colours – the uses are endless.
We’ll supply tea/coffee and the use of an inkle loom and other equipment. Workshop fee covers one set of tablet weaving cards (25 cards valued at $39.90), patterns for a woven band, enough wool for your first strap, and a set of notes that will cover many questions, pitfalls and techniques to get around them.

Need to Bring: Your own lunch, and if possible, a share plate for morning / afternoon tea.
