A simple way to wind your yarn, this Nostepinne winder is made of beech wood and are a handheld tool that doesn't take up a lot of space, is extremely portable and easy to use.
Wrap your strand around the notch at the tip, bring it down the length of the winder and then begin wrapping around and over the centre strand until you have a gorgeous, even, centre-pull cake of yarn. It even has grooves to stop the yarn from falling off.
I will say that it did take me a couple of attempts to get the winding technique right, but it is a handy tool to have. Please note the natural colour is not in stock, and these items are no longer stocked by our local distributor.
