This is an excellent wool to spin as part of your journey as a spinner and your intentional breed study. Lincoln long wool should be spun with some concentration - if you spin with too much twist, you can easily find you have spun some rope. This is an excellent fibre for rug making or weaving, and has a beautiful halo when finished. This lustre wool will also take dye beautifully.
