This fleece was a winner at the 22nd Australian Fleece competition held in Bendigo (July 2023). From Demondrille Merino Stud located in Harden NSW, this fleece has a micron range of 20.6-22 and an average staple length of 124mm. Overall the fleece has less than 1% vm. I can assure you that I have been through this fleece with the help of an experienced wool classer and what we picked out didn't cover the bottom of an ice cream container.
The fleece has been divided into 3 different size packets, 300g+, 400g+, and 500g+. Perfect for spinners embarking on a fleece study or anyone who would like to explore spinning some merino into a chunky yarn!
