Introducing White Gum Wool's new High Twist 10 Ply hand dyed in The Lucky Ewe dye studio.
White Gum Wool's new ‘twist-on-twist” spin style has been designed to minimise pilling while keeping the beautifully soft feel of their superfine merino yarn.
The stitch definition with this yarn is fantastic. The Firewood Cap (pattern can be found in Salt & Timber by Lindsey Fowler) is a example of how lovely this yarn knits up. Sample knit shown (knit by yours truely over 3 days) knit on 4mm circular needles until then crown shaping when I switched to bamboo dpns. The Adult size medium used 80g of yarn.
