From Tasmanian wool grower Jen Eddington we have an amazing English Leicester Lambs wool. Grown near Selbourne Tasmania, this wool was scoured in Victoria and then sent to the Fibre Arts Shed in NSW for spinning. A long stapled lustre wool, English Leicester is known for its sheen and sturdiness. As a first shearing lambs wool, this can be used as a next to skin garment. The lovely gray colour (which has been developed over many years by the grower), can be overdyed with brilliant results. While classified a 4-ply yarn, we found this knits up as a sports weight/light dk.
